Welcome Georgia Bolingbroke, new postdoctoral scholar

We are pleased to welcome Georgia Bolingbroke to the Experimental Gravity Group as a postdoctoral scholar, joining us on February 1, 2026.
Georgia comes to Caltech from the University of Adelaide, where she completed her PhD in the Optics, Lasers and Photonics group. Her doctoral work, carried out within the ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav), included development of high-efficiency thulium-doped fiber lasers for next-generation gravitational-wave detector technologies.
At Caltech, Georgia will be working on optical enhancement cavities for laser fusion and quantum optics experiments, bringing her expertise in precision laser systems to both our fusion energy collaboration and our quantum measurement program.
